For The Record

“Fact-checked” now means politically approved. This section does not participate. The left calls this misinformation. We call it arithmetic. If this were Snopes, the verdict would be “Mostly False.”

What would you tell a liberal who screams climate change is conservatives’ fault?

I agree, global temperatures have risen 1°C over the past century. Conservatives aren’t driving global emissions—China and India are, and they’re expanding coal while the U.S. has cut emissions for decades through innovation, not mandates. If climate change were truly the priority, the focus would be on major polluters, nuclear energy, and real math—not screaming at Americans who drive trucks and eat beef. That’s not science. That’s scapegoating.

What would you tell a liberal who says Trump is a dictator?

Dictators don’t leave office, don’t face impeachments, indictments, a hostile press on an hourly basis, and open protests. Trump did all of that. Disagreeing with a president doesn’t make him a dictator — it proves you don’t live under one.

What would you tell a liberal who says climate change requires socialism?

Every “solution” to climate change somehow looks like socialism the left wanted long before the climate debate. The U.S. cut emissions more than any Paris Accord country through innovation, not government control. If this were truly about the climate, nuclear energy would be the priority—but it isn’t, because this was never just about emissions.

What would you tell a liberal who says America is racist?

America is the most diverse nation in history, where minorities lead institutions, dominate culture, and rise to the highest offices. People don’t flee to racist countries; they flee from them, yet millions try to get into the U.S. every year. A country the world lines up to enter is not the racist dystopia it’s portrayed to be.

What would you tell a liberal who says guns are the problem?

There are about 400 million guns in America, and if guns were the problem, the country would be chaos. Instead, the strictest gun laws correlate with the worst gun violence, while high gun-ownership states are often the safest. The issue isn’t the tool—it’s culture, mental illness, gang violence, and fatherless homes, which are harder to fix than banning objects.

What would you tell a liberal who says ICE is out of control?

ICE has conducted hundreds of thousands of operations. Two incidents is a statistical reality — not a broken system. The real question is why the Floyd riots that killed 20+ people plus billions in damages don’t haunt you, but this does. That’s not your conscience. That’s your newsfeed.
